There is a requirement for lighting and ventilation for the basement done either with windows or artificial lighting and mechanical ventilation. Other items that need to be addressed. please provide an electronic plan set bearing location from the 2nd floor need to be indicated at the 1 st floor level -joist layouts and LVL calculation must be provided. the 2 x 12 at the 1st floor level appear to meet the span allowance, but realize the allowable deflection is about 5/8" so it should feel like a trampoline. there is not a framing details for the deck and piers. Please provide the above items. Is it possible sir for me to start foundation/wall while waiting for the building permit? I am running behind in construction schedule. The deck beam and piers do not meet code. They are both undersized. The assumed bearing capacity of the soil without being tested is 2000 Ibs per sqft. I need a floor layout for the I-joist. The LP tank will requires a 10' setback from the property line. Attached is the revised plan with the corrections as noted below. 1. Framing plan for the floors and beam/joist sizes 2. Deck beam changed from 2 - 2x10 to 3 -2x10 3. Design check for the deck 10" concrete pier has been done based on 3500 psf soil bearing capacity. Based on the soil observation, the soil is mostly gravel with bearing capacity in the range of 3500 to 4000 psf. 4. The location of the Gas Tank is set at 12 feet from property line.
