Yr. mewhill:
This letter is in response to recent inquiries about work
being done inside my residence at 60 No. Maple St. , Florence.
The second floor was originally a seven room apartment which
was nearly impossible to rent out without finding a tennant
with two or more children. This being compounded by my own
three boys would be a little more than ourselves or our neigh-
bors should. have to put up with.
Since we only have three bedrooms in our first floor apartment.
rare decided to make a fourth on the second floor and at the same
time reduce the second floor apartment in size to four rooms.
T,Te are also planning on a full bath and laundry room out of the
remaining space for our convenience. Both sides of the second
floor have front and rear egressess and in addition the original
egressess have remained unchanged . At the present time we have
no intentions of converting this two-family dwelling into a
three-family.
Sincer4ly, ,
Ronald F. Hodges
