At a meeting conducted on October 5, 1994 , the Northampton Zoning
Board of Appeals unanimously voted 3 :0 to GRANT the request of
Stephen S. Rloc III for a FINDING under the provisions of Section
9.3 (a) (1) , page 9-1 in the Northampton Zoning Ordinance, to
allow an expansion of a pre-existing, non-conforming structure
at 87 High Street, Florence, as shown on Plan entitled, Site Plan
Prepared for Chip and Lisa Rloc, 87 High Street, Northampton.
Zoning Board Members present and voting were: Chairman Peter
Laband, Member M. Sanford Weil, Jr. , and Associate Member Elaine
M. Reall.
The Findings of the Board under Section 9.3 (a) (1) for an
extension of a Pre-existing non-conforming structure were as
follows:
1. The Board found that the extension will not be substantially
more detrimental to the neighborhood than the existing non-
conforming structure.
2 . The Board found that the extension will not create a new
- violation of the existing zoning requirements.
