A. Curtains:
1. KBA Specification 2.4-A -Provide not less than 60 percent additional
fullness for curtains(7 1/4" lap). —
■ The curtains provided are only 50 percent fullness-(6" lap)
2. Curtains should not be stored on site. They are being kept in a bag(should be boxed)that is
already worn from being dragged around the stage by other trades.
3. Provide Border Curtains with lead tae at bottom.
B. Tracks&Rigging:
1. All 1/4" shackles at pipe battens have to be secured with bailing wire
.2. All cables to have bailing wire at main cranks&turnbuckles
3. All cable ends have to be terminated and taped off
4. All walk along tracks(scenery tracks)cannot exceed 4 feet between supports.
(KBA 3.4-A-2) Walker provided supports at approx 6-0"
_ 5. The main traveler(Heavy duty track)cannot exceed 6'-0"between supports

6. Cable crank assembly has to be secured with a "#5 rated bolt"
The crank is now secured with lag bolts

Dear Mr. Aquadro:
I am writing in response to the letter from Dant-Clayton Corporation dated December 15,
2000, regarding the installation of the galvanized handrail systems at the Grandstand.
The information stated in the letter is correct. In a telephone conversation with Mr.
Lewis, I verbally approved the substitution of galvanized pipe in lieu of extruded
aluminum pipe in order to obtain the code required maximum outside diameter of 11/z".
The second item on the Punch List dated October 31, 2000, can be deleted. The
installation of the galvanized rails is acceptable. Considering that the aluminum rails are
specified to have an anodized finish, the galvanized rails are to be finish painted to
achieve an equivalent substitution.

Dear Traci:
On Thursday, December 13, 2001, a site visit was conducted to review the status of punchlisfitems
that have been previously noted by our office. The following is a list of items still outstanding. These
items are in addition to the Monetized Punch List(attached)that was recently compiled by Aquadro
& Cerrutti, Inc. (see attached).
1. Revised as-built drawing of Boiler Room is still needed for Owner's record.
2. Seismic Bracing is loose on piping in Mechanical Room (near HRU-2).
3. Pump#6 in Boiler Room is very noisy. Should be checked. (Bad bearings?).
4. Electrical disconnect switch for Exhaust fan (EF-26) in Generator Room is in the "off' position.
Why is this fan off?
5. Lightning Protection System- upon inspection of the system, the following was observed:
a. Many of the cable mounting brackets have come loose from the roof and Air Handling Units
(See attached photos).
b. Cable splice fittings are rubbing on the roof membrane and could eventually create a leak in
the roof(See attached photos).
c. Some of the rooftop exhaust fans have not been connected to the Lightning Protection
System (See attached photos).

Although the painting of stair treads in the Area D and E stairs was discussed when it
was found that the rubber tread/nosing detail could not be installed over the existing
profile, I believe that the final solution only required painting of the steel risers and
stringers. Please confirm.
Also enclosed is correspondence from vanZelm Heywood & Shadford dated December
21, 2001 regarding outstanding items from the M/E/P Punch List. The work that remains
for the lightning protection is assigned a value of$1000.
Please notify me in writing upon completion of the remaining Punch List items.

office and are either checked (4) as complete or designated with an "O" for incomplete.
The majority of items is cosmetic and includes replacement of ceiling tiles, general
painting and painting clean-up, casework adjustment, patching and repairs, and
miscellaneous electrical items. Installation of fire rated caulking as well as general
caulking is required in some areas. These items are assigned a value of$10,000.
