I visited the property at 182 Main Street in Leeds on April 24, 2008. 1 observed work on that
property being performed contrary to the provisions of the Massachusetts State Building Code, 780
CMR. The demolition, interior renovations, foundation repairs, exterior walls and roof framing work
exceeds the scope of the building permit(#BP-2008-0727) issued on February 28, 2008. In accordance
with 780 CMR Chapter 51, section 5119, 1 have issued and posted a stop work order effective April 24,
2008. Work on this property cannot resume until you obtain a permit for the work being performed.
You have the right to appeal this action under 780 CMR Chapter 51, section 5122. 1 have
included the relevant code sections and forms.
