32C-001 (31) 6 Description of Proposed Use/Work/Project/Occupation: Thornes Marketplace proposes to install temporary holiday lights to its 150 Main Street fagade for a 10 week period from November 8, 2014 to January 22, 2015. Please see attached rendering of proposed lighting plan. The lights will range in size from 18" to 50" in diameter and will consist of white LEDs. The lights will be installed and removed by professional installers. Galvanized steel airplane cable will be strung horizontally across the front of the building utilizing existing bolts/penetrations. The lights will be hung utilizing the airplane cable described above as well as from existing hooks that run along the top of the building's parapet. We are hoping to have the lights on from dusk until midnight each evening. We hope the installation of these lights will add to the overall festive feel of Main Street and encourage shoppers to visit and shop downtown.
