The Home Store understands that the cultured marble countertops installed by our
manufacturer, AvisAmerica, in Jim Harrity's modular home on Lincoln street are not yet
approved by the state as required by the state plumbing code, As you know,the
manufacturer of the countertops has applied for approval,and the state has verbally
indicated that it expects to approve the countertops. However,the official approval may
take a few weeks, since it requires a meeting that has not yet been scheduled by the state.
The Home Store understands that as long as all other plumbing work is completed to your
satisfaction you will allow these countertops to remain in the house and will sign off on
your final inspection. The Home Store agrees that it will immediately replace all
countertops with state approved products should the state decide not to approve the
installed countertops.
