(ECS) has corrrpleted an asbestos inspecgon of the gas static located at 310 Bridge Street in Northampton, Massachusetts for the presence of asbestos- Containing mat rials (AGMs). 1.0 SUMMARY ASBESTOS On February 8, 2006 EC,S personneil collected bulk sammples of suspect building materials to determine the possible pre ce of asbestos. Access to the roof was not attained. Bulk samples were submitted to an accredited lab ratory for asbestos identification by Polarized Light Ncroswpy(PLM). Laboratory testing results are enclosed ith this letter report. There are six minerals grouped into the term "asbestos". Chrysotile, Amosite, and rocidolite are asbestos minerals most commonly found In building ni sterials. An ACM is defined as a material retaining more than 1 percent asbestos.
