Massachusetts Highway Department(MassHighway)District Two performed site reviews in the vicinity
of3|OBridge Street(Platinum Auto Spa) iu the City of Northampton.
Reviews of the catch basin a1 approximate Station lO+O2, 6v District personnel, revealed that ao illicit
drainage connection has yet tnheremoved. Also, east nf the utility pole(MECo#36/Vedsou#2)there
was u6.0 foot section of granite curb missing.
Please he advised that the Permit states: "The Grantee shall abandon the existing private drain line that
ties into the state highway catch basin a1Station |OfO2±...°and"All shoulder areas, paved areas, gzoom
um:am,drainage Uoea and obootnroo, curbing, edging, or other highway appurtenances that are disturbed
due tnthe vvod« sbu|| be replaced and/or restored to its original condition." The permit further mtn1cu:
"Failure to comply with the terms of this Permit; past and tutnn:directives from the Massachusetts
Highway Department,any other local,state and federal regulatory agencies, shall be cause for immediate
revocation.
The District requires immediate removal nf the drainage connection. A written response shall he
submitted tothe District Two office within 14 days nf receiving this letter, identifying completion
dmoe)iuco for the drainage onuuecdoo cwmonvu\ and granite curb installation. All other terms and
conditions specified within the permit remain iu effect and shall be strictly adhered to. lf you have any
