Sanford Weil, Jr. The Findings of the Zoning Board under Section 9.3 (a) for an extension of a Pre-existing non-conforming structure were: 1. The extension will not be substantially more detrimental to the neighborhood than the existing non-conforming structure. The extension would not increase the non-conformity of the structure since the side yard setbacks would not be reduced; 2 . The extension will not create a new violation of the existing zoning requirements because the addition of a dining room will not alter the type of use, nor add any additional stress to any municipal system or services that' the City provides.
