RE: Zoning violation of hedge height at intesection of Olive and South St.
Mrs. Hein,
Our office received a complaint (copy attached) that the hedges on your property at the
intersection of Olive and South street are creating a hazard for pedestrians because of
their height. I made a site inspection and found that the hedges do exceed the three foot
height that our zoning allows. I have attached a copy of our zoning ordinance section 6.8-
5. The height cannot exceed three feet for a distance of twenty-five feet along Olive and
South Street this is to allow pedestrians and motorists clear visibility.
You have thirty days from receipt of this letter to correct this violation, failure on your
part to do so can result in fines up to $100 per day for each day the violation continues
and or court action.
