One half of the 8" storage bay slab was poured with the control joint
strips in place. The mesh was placed in 2 layers in the second half of
the slab.
The precast/prestressed panels were being erected along the north wall of
the storage bay. Some intermediate height shimming at the corner will
have to be done to make this joint straight prior to caulking.
The steel roof deck was at the site but not yet begun to be placed and
attached.

RE: Site Visit of July 8, 1986 - Northampton Transit Facility
Summary of discussions at the project site:
1. Fueling and lubrication equipment discussed with Art Liberty of Meter and
Tank and Peter Jaskievic of Ciocca Construction:
a. I concurred with decision to put both fuel dispensers inside the building
with a remote hose in a cabinet outside the building.
b. I reviewed with the Contractor his submission of Petrometer and Lubrication
equipment. I explained to him our reasons for rejecting these submittals.
Contractor must clearly indicate the exact item and its model number on the
submittal .
c. Contractor assured me that test leads from the cathodic protection system
provided with each 1,000 gallon tank will terminate in a test box located
at the fill pipe.
2. Sub base preparation for concrete building slab appeared satisfactory. I
advised thorough density testing of sub base after Contractor completes its
preparation and before concrete is placed to insure compliance with specification.
