FAX TRANSMITTAL_ 18 May 1999 TO: Tony Patillo @ 587 1272 NO. PAGES 1, inclusive Re: 131 State Street/Christa Holden Tony, I know you are extremely busy and I REALLY hate to bother you with this stuff, but I really need your help with this woman. Today she has an electrician digging a trench across the front yard, I understand on a permit to install a dryer. Last week when I asked her about drilling sounds within the budding, she says"the electrician is Installing switches that should have been installed before" and hangs up. When I call your office to find out for what the permit was taken out, Dot tells me there is none. After George visits, Christa leaves a seriously angry threat on my message machine to"mind my own business or she will take every measure she can to get back at me". I'm not kidding, I saved the tape! Christa has a total disregard for regulations, whether zoning, building or condo association 1 cannot get her to consider the safety of others. She still has a student from the International Language Institute in Sullivan Square living in her basement, but I think their semester ends soon. At this point, considering the hundreds of dollars in plants she just installed, I suspect she may be intending to use her place as a Bed and Breakfast. Please speak with her in the next few days, verify what she is doing, and get her to comply with the law. At least this way as a trustee of the condo association I can begin to protect myself against a claim which the insurance company won't pay because of these violations. Also please also let me know what happens, so I can be prepared. Thanks, Peter P
