From: Jonathan Wright Date: May 19, 1998 Re: Industrial Park Property I spoke yesterday with Wayne Feiden at Northampton City Hall yesterday-he is the Director of Planning and Development-about the nature of your business as I understand it. I wanted to pass along a couple of pieces of information. 1. The designation of your business may currently be Manufacturing, but Research and Development is also a permitted use. In either case, as long as the offices are essential activities for the manufacturing and business, there are no issues about the square footage utilization. 2. t indicated the parking requirements when we spoke, and these are correct, and will be affected by future additions. Wayne reminds me that the Planning Board has the authority to alter parking requirements by 20% for unique or exceptional circumstances. 3. There are wetlands at least adjoining the property, on the highway side, and these maps can be viewed at the planning Department in Northampton City Hall I trust this clarifies some of our discussion yesterday. The accessory office 30%designation is for office functions not integrated into the business, such as a sub tenant. I guess we got off on a tangent. Cheers. CC.
