Authority
From: Jonathan Wright
Date October 7, 1996
Re: 115 Industrial Drive
I am presenting an application which involves the addition of office space as an accessory use on the
facility in the Northampton Industrial Park which we constructed in 1977.
Both Wright Builders and Wright Architectural Millwork are continuing to thrive at this location, and the
nature of the businesses is such that additional office space is needed. This will be constructed with
concrete block scored and stained like the existing building, and utilizing a 33'clear span so that the
space could be reconverted to industrial use if this were needed in the future. Design work is being
completed by Kuhn Riddle Architects in Amherst.
Square footage calculations are presented here to assist in your deliberations; as you can see, while the
size of the addition requires the site plan review process, the necessary parking spaces are currently
available on the site. As a precaution we are indicating a proposed expansion area for parking so that
this will be pre-approved if we need it. The calculations indicate that we fall within the 40% accessory
use definition for office space in the General Industrial Zone.

Currently available on site and striped in are 38 places including one designated handicap space. We
also have identified an additional four parking space locations on the existing paved area that we can
designate if we need to.
For Zoning purposes we are providing the following area calculations:
