25A-185 (24) HIXSON 659 Van Meter Street Cincinnati Ohio 45202-1568 513 241 1230 field FAX 513 241 1287 memo NUMBER 1 SUBJECT: Coca-Cola North America, Northampton, Massachusetts Hot Fill Line Addition JOB NO. 6788.40 DATE: 09/28/06 Site Visit: 09/26/06 Mike Meyer on site PAGE 2 OF 2 DISCUSSION - During the job progress meeting it was clear that timing is critical to the sequence of relocating the first make-up air units to the roof. This scope of work is scheduled for the second week in October. It was noted that prefabricated structural roof curbs are specified for roof top equipment and duct penetrations throughout the roof. These components are typically a long lead item but submittal information has not yet been provided to Hixson for review. It appears that there is insufficient time for coordination, review of submittals and fabrication of the structural curbs. To expedite, Forish Construction must propose an alternative for the roof curbs that is equivalent to the specified component that yet will still meet the schedule. Installation of three 6" FP risers is nearly complete. EXISTING BOTTLING ROOM Installation of various utility piping systems is in progress.
