Applicant's Signature Attachment to the Application to the City of Northampton Zoning Board of Appeals For Variance or Special Permit 10. Set forth reasons upon which application is based: The reasons for this application are that the applicant and his wife wish to relocate both their home and his professional practice from the present location at 275 Elm Street. This is due to the fact that Dr. and Mrs. Stark are getting older and cannot maintain nor do they need the large amount of space in their present quarters. Furthermore, Dr. Stark intends to reduce the size of his business and will not need as much room as is now set aside for his offices. By the nature of the construction of the building they propose to buy, the Starks will have the sought for situation whereby they can live in and maintain the first floor of this smaller building as their residence. This is important because Mrs. Stark does have difficulty negotiating stairs. Furthermore, Dr. Stark can maintain his practice, at a manageable size, both in terms of area and numbers on the second floor. In conjunction herewith, several of the neighbors have been contacted relative to this project, andall those contacted have indicated that they are in favor of this proposal. ! , J "f`ii74P iE= Boston.
