Dear Tony,
This is a statement of my inspection under State code 780CMR Section 3400.4.2.9. I have made an
inspection for the owner Barbara Metcalfe.
I was asked to evaluate the structural integrity of the exit stairs.
3400.4.2.9 Testing and Certification. All exterior wooden stairway fire
escapes and egress balconies and their structural anchorage were examined and certified for structural
adequacy and safety.
This is my affidavit to you;
I see no structural problems assuming all the non visible components remain functional. This
represents the scope of work and code issues to the best of my knowledge to date.,
