The Conservation Commission interprets this exemption to allow additions within an existing footprint. If the project work is more than fifty feet from the resource areas, and you can provide us with a simple site map showing the existing structures, wetlands/streams, erosion and sediment controls and staging area, a wetlands permit is not necessary.
