The building inspector stopped by and intimated that the
plumber may have some liability with your situation. If you will
pay your account to date, I will investigate the situation and
see to it that the plumber excepts his responsibility. I will also
try to do all other repairs as a result of this wikhin the limit
of your insurance coverage.
It would have been much better if you had contacted me before
pulling the ceiling apart. Your hasty action my have increased
the cost of repairs.
I will do my best.

of the State Building Cade, Section 2.103.Z.5 - Cuttina
and notching of floor joists.

appears to have been tvx, plumbing contractors at various
tivies, working In the structure, if the tub had been
installed after the downstairs coiling, then the notching
would not have been visible. This now creates a rather
difficult repair job.
