Dear Mr. Tewhill,
I have received two letters from
December 3, 1.983 and February Your Office dated
a complaint concerning an alleged ljun informing to ed of

phone, it is my contention that this vehicle does
not Fall within the meaning of a junk vehicle.
This vehicle has four wheels and is mobile. The
engine, removed last summer for repairs, has been
replaced. The body of the car is in tact with no
parts missing. The car is presently being restored
by my son for use when he attends college.
Just prior to the receipt of

neighborhood childrenl were caught throwing rocksrat
the car in an attempt to break the windows. My son
ordered them from the property. It is our opinion
that this incident brought about the complaint by
their pa.rerts. It is further contended that if these
Parents had not failed to control the children and
would teach the children the value of respecting the
Property of others, many of these problems would be
avoided.

Dear Mr. Sherman:
We have received a complaint that you have stored on your property a junk
yellow V.W. vehicle for over a period of Thirty (30) days*
City of Northampton Zorning Ordinances Article S, page 8-8. paragraph 17#
states as follows
"No junk motor vehicle shall be parked, stored, or otherwise
placed in' oup or upon land in any district for a period of
more that Thirty (30) days."
As you are in violation of the Zoning Ordinances per above paragraph, please
make arrangements to remove the vehicle immediately.

the Legal Department.
