Prior to construction of the roadway, a continuous line of hay bales shall he staked at least 50 feet from the wetland to serve, in addition to erosion control, as a non-encroachment line. " 11) That portion of the individual driveways that lies within the 100-foot buffer zone shall be constructed concurrently with the common roadway. 12) The roadway surface shall be gravel only, not asphalt, 13) The applicant shall state on the deed for each lot that only untreated sand will be allowed on the roadway to counter icy conditions; neither road salt nor chemical applications will be allowed. 14) To protect against erosion on the roadway, water bars will be added where the grade of the roadway is 3 percent and higher. 15) The Conservation Commission endorses the intention to maintain the flow of the stream during bridge construction, however, it requests further details of this will be accomplished. 16) Downstream from the bridge, a siltation pond shall be devised in order to Collect any additional silt and eroded material flowing in,,-the stream. 17) In order to protect the resource area over the long term, the homeowners are collectively responsible for maintaining the unobstructed flow of the stream under the bridge. 18) The roadway access across the stream is granted limited project status as defined in 310 CMR 10.53 (3) (e) .
