Dear Chief Jones:
To confirm our telephone conversations of today, you have examined
the proposed site layout submitted to you by this office (Drawing
L-3, dated 22 January 1991), toured the existing site and viewed
the model of the proposed addition to the hospital , and have
approve of the layout as drawn with the following comments:
1. The circle in front of the proposed hospital , 65 feet in
diameter, is to have flush pavement throughout. The small
circle in its center will be composed of flush granite
cobbles that will not inhibit equipment movement or access.
2. The access roads from the main site entrances to the
proposed hospital entrance will be 24 feet wide.
3. The Siamese connection for the proposed addition will be
"stand-up" type, mounted approximately 8 feet beyond the
curb of the circle, rather than at the face of the building.
4. Cooley Dickinson Hospital will engage in an aggressive
parking enforcement program, aimed at keeping fire lanes
