Re: Hotel Northampton
Dear Mr. Clark:
Our engineers have made a thorough investigation of the Hotel Northampton
proper.
They found that concrete encased steel skeleton and the poured concrete floors
all have a fire rating of two hours or better.
Certain exit doors at the stair-wells at each floor shall have to be up-
graded to a ]2 hour fire-rated assembly.
When these minor changes have been accomplished, the structure will meet or
exceed the fire-grading for a 2A construction type and the fire-grading re-
quirements of an F3, Ll, L2 or E occupancy.
The afore-mentioned occupancies will allow the present and future uses of the
building as public-assembly/restaurants, hotel, multi-family, or business
offices.
