32A-255(6) The Planning Board April 11, 1989 Page 2 In order to improve the parking situation on the hotel site, the owners have initiated a valet parking system. This system has been designed in consultation with Coyne-Kangesser Parking, Inc. , a parking consulting firm from Cleveland, Ohio. Presently there is a central point located adjacent to the main vehicular entrance from King Street. Upon arrival, guests are given a claim check and the car is valet parked on site. Upon completion of the office building, this valet system will expand to utilize the second level of the office parking garage. To coincide with Hotel use, a valet person will be assigned full time to the second level to insure that the office building tenant requirements are property served. The efficient joint use of the office and Hotel parking areas will greatly enhance the availability of parking for the Hotel. The Hotel has a special need for space during the evenings and on weekends. The office garage can serve this need since it will be put to limited use by the tenants during these periods. The vehicular movement of traffic on the site as described is shown on the plans submitted. We are continuing our discussions with the parking consultants to ensure maximum usage of the site during the construction phase. Your thoughts and consideration are appreciated. ---Yours very truly, Eric 3: Gervais kfb :pb.let BROWNELL, GLISERMAN, WASHBURN, GERVAIS & KAPLAN ATTORNEYS AT LAW 8 CRAFTS AVENUE NORTHAMPTON.
