New Guest Rooms--2nd Floor Annex M„
Please find attached two (2) copies of the revised detail plan for the above, dated 3/18/98.
As we discussed in our meeting of 3/16/98, we intend to install, as part of this phase of
the work, a two-hour rated fire separation assembly on the underside of the existing floor
joists between the first & second floors of this building prior to the occupancy of the
guest rooms on the second floor.
In addition, it is our intent to install another two-hour rated fire separation assembly
between the first floor of the Hotel Annex building & the basement space now occupied
by Wiggins Tavern prior to occupancy of this first floor level as new_guest rooms. The
fire sprinkler protection system on both the first & second floors has been re-engineered
' & will be fitted with new rapid response pendant sprinkler heads. This system, in
conjunction with the existing fire notification system, automatically notifies the fire
`4 department.
