I am a taxpayer and a concerned resident of the "Brookwood
Area" of Florence. It was brought to my attention that there is a two family
home at 27 Ellington Road. This upsets me some. A while ago, I inquired about
converting my home into a two family in order to recieve extra income but was
told that it was not possible. ( Zoning violations.) ? So for obvious reasons
I am a little upset that these people are breaking the law. I would like to
bring this to your attention but I 'd also like to remain anonymous for fear of
retaliation.
Enclosed you will find a copy of the newspaper ad advertising
the one bedroom apartment at 27 Ellington Rd. Also the falsified building permit
for a garage conversion. I read about how busy your department is with budget
cuts but I would appreciate your help in protecting our neighborhood.
