The law office of Calvin Coolidge, 30th President of
the United States, were once located in the Masonic Building. The
office was appropriately located in the central portion of the
structure. The windows of the office are flanked by Ionic columns
and decorated with griffins.
The Masonic building is executed in the Roman Revival
style popular in the last years of the nineteenth century. A massive
and lavish cornice crowns the four stoty structure. Terra Cotta
trim decorates the central pedimented portion of the building.
Grouped windows in^ the facade reveal the interior spaces. At
street level are many orignal. storefronts faced with green marble.
