Dear Sir:
My client Paul Hebert, Jr. has asked me to contact you relative to the parking of cars in the right -
of- way between your properties at Hawley Street. As you know, he owns the property just to the
North of yours.
It has become apparent that you, or your tenants, by parking for extended periods of time in the
right-of-way that separates your properties, are impeding the traffic to the rear of your property
which is owned by my client and others.
The client and others are the beneficiaries of this right-of-way which has been carried through in
the deeds since the late eighteen hundreds.
Impeding the right-of-way by blocking of traffic is not allowed by law, especially complete
blocking of emergency equipment as would have been the case after the last snow storm. I
strongly suggest that this should not happen again.
I understand that there was parking previously for your tenants in the rear of your building, but
since the rear is now fenced off, this is no longer possible. I further suggest that you provide off
street parking in the rear as you did prior as city ordinance requires.
I further understand that the client has advised you by signs or otherwise of these concerns. The
recourse he will be left with if the conditions persist will be to have the vehicles towed at the
owners' expense.
