The Board of Appeals met at 7 :15 PM., October 7, 1981 , to con-
sider the request of Joan and Edward Hart to withdraw their applica-
tion for a special permit to add two apartments to a 12-unit structure
at -1-23 Eastern Avenue. Present and voting were Chairman Robert C.
Buscher, Peter Sharac, and William Brandt.
The Chairman noted that the Harts ' attorney had requested that
the public hearing, scehduled for September 2, 1981, be continued
for sixty days. The Board granted the continuance. On September 24,
the Board received a letter from the attorney, on behalf of his
clients, asking that the applicants be allowed to withdraw their
petition.
On a motion made and seconded, the Board voted unanimously to
allow withdrawal without prejudice.
The meeting was adjourned at 7 :30 PM. Present, in addition to
the Board members , were Clare Fennessey, Clerk, and a reporter from
WHMP.
