RE: 25 Hancock Street-Board of Health Decision
Dear Mr.Verson:
Please be advised that at a regular Board of Health meeting held on March 24, 2005, the Board of
Health Members voted to require you to comply with the order issued to you in the letter sent to you by
this office dated February 3, 2005, regarding the guardrails and balusters on the front porch which is
describe below:
FRONT PORCH
.503 The guardrails on the front porch are not 36"high and the balusters are more than 6" apart.
ORDER: Install or extend handrail at least 36"high with balusters that shall have no
space more than 6" apart ( 41/2" apart is recommended). A building permit must be
obtained from the Building Department and all work shall be done in compliance with the
State Building Code.
The new deadline date for compliance is APRIL 30,2005. Please notify this office at 587-1214
to set up a re-inspection when to work is completed.
