At its meeting on August 6, 1980, the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City ',
of Northampton voted to unanimously grant the petition of Harold's Garage for
a special permit to buy and sell used motor vehicles in conjunction with its
present operation located at 19 Holyoke Street.,

{ Based upon the evidence presented to the Board, the Board made the follow
i ding findings in regard to the special permit:
1. The proposed use is listed in the Table of Use Regulations.
2 . The proposed use bears a positive relationship to the public
convenience or welfare.
js 3. The proposed use will not overload the municipal systems.
4. The
i proposed use will not impair nor change the integrity of
the district because the property is located in a General Busi-
ness zone, and several other business establishments operate
in the general vicinity.
5. The proposed use will operate during normal business hours i
without additional signs, lighting or fencing. j
