Dear Mr . Tewhill ,
In regard to the remains of the Randolph Place Apartments after last
night ' s fire , I have advised Jerry Gates of Gates and Johnson to
take down the concrete block elevator shaft walls to the concrete
foundation .
The basement walls above the footings should also be taken down
and removed from the site . Mr . Gates will have all of the fire debris
removed from inside the foundation walls down to clean gravel before
filling with new gravel to the level of the bottom of the basement
slab .
