AREA G
- The 10” fire riser connection is complete. It was not necessary to lower the pipe elevation in
order to maintain 5’-0” minimum cover. At the location outside the building where the pipe
was offset to make the connection, the pipe will be heat-traced and insulated with 1” foam
glass,
- The concrete bottom of the trench drain has been placed. Forms for the sides of the trench
drain are being erected. Four #4 reinforcement bars on both sides of the trench drain walls
have not yet been tied into the #4 vertical bars.
- Grading of the detention basin is substantially complete. The outlet control structure has not
yet been installed.
- Concrete pavement is scheduled to be placed 9/9/10.
RECEIVING DOCK 190
- Six loading dock leveler pits have been placed.
- Electrical planels LP-RD2 and Rp-RD2 have been installed with EMT conduit. This is not in
accordance with the contract documents. Per the wiring methods schedule, rigid steel conduit
is specified. All subcontractors are to adhere to requirements defined within the drawings and
specifications unless authorized to deviate by Hixson.
AREA E
- Footings along Column Line 6.4 are being placed. Installation of the electrical grounding loop
in the column footings is proceeding in accordance with the structural and electrical drawings.
