Mr. Buzzell,
The plans for the Single Family Residential
addition dated 3-7&9-11 have been approved as noted;
Structure conforms to 780 CMR 7th addition 1 and 2 family building codes.
Energy aspects must comply with 2009 IECC prescriptive
and mandatory requirements or an appropriate HERS rating. Northampton has the stretch energy code. (appendix 120AA)
Deck ledgers must be bolted through the foundation.
Locate the 1st
fl smoke and CO at the bottom of the stairs.
Please have Mike rerun the main carrying beam again it seems awful skimpy and I don’t see the point loads from above indicated.
Manufactures
requirements must be followed for all intake and exhaust locations (separation distances), watch the gas, electric and HRV.
HVAC contractor to revise heating calculations and equipment
sizing.
HVAC must pull a separate sheet metal permit. (haven’t seen Drew yet)
