Dear Mr. Landry,
I have received notice from the Northampton Department of Public Works that work at 90
Pomeroy Terrace is being performed in violation of local regulations, specifically work on public
property and work in the public right-of-way. This is a violation of the Massachusetts State Building
Code 780 CMR section 107.6.3.
I am issuing a Stop Work Order in accordance with section 115.1 of the code. Work on this
project must cease until these violations are corrected. Work may not proceed until the Department of
Public Works approves a site plan that meets the City of Northampton’s ordinances and regulations.
I will require a written copy of the DPW approved plan before I will remove the order.
