This site visit was made to check on the status of construction work and specifically to review
the conditions at the new egress door from the mezzanine to the roof deck. The following items
were noted -
1. The existing finish floor on the mezzanine is 8 1/4” below the finish floor on the roof deck
and so an interior ramp is needed. CF will prepare a sketch showing the ramp, railings,
required clearances, etc. and provide it to SJ and JE for review and comment prior to
forwarding a copy to LH and the AAB.
2. The hinge side of the new egress door has been switched to allow for adequate latch side
clearance – see attached sketch SK-1.
3. HVAC, roofing, trim, and interior finish work is ongoing.
4. SJ will be meeting with Thyssenkrupp on Tuesday, 27 January to review the lift
requirements and installation. CF recommends SJ confirm the expected receipt date for the
lift shop drawings.
5. BA is in contact with AccuFab and is scheduling an on-site meeting to review the proposed
covered walkway structure.
