Emergency Lighting. Easthampton Electric will ensure that all emergency lighting is operational before re-inspection. 9. South Section temporary fire protection wiring. The southern six unit building section will be connected to northern six unit building section fire control panel. Easthampton Electric will connect two heat detectors in south basement and smoke detectors for each floor in south front and rear stairwells before re- inspection. Again, all above work noted at this morning's inspection will be completed before re-inspection. We hope to be ready for re-inspection by the week of December 1, 2003. The items which still need to be addressed are as follows: 1. Knox box key tag. Item is on order from the Knox Company and will be delivered to Jack Walsh at Wei-Design. Delivery to Wei-Design is expected next week and they will place in the knox box before re-inspection. 2. Graphic Map. Existing map will be upgraded to include all floors including basement. Map will be titled, properly color coded, framed under glass and permanently mounted at eye level next to fire alarm control panel. Jack Walsh from W61-Design will produce and install before re-inspection. 3. Building Square Footage. Kevin Rothchild-Shea from Carlson & Schmitt Architects will deliver building and apartment square footage calculation to you before re-inspection. 4. Laminated Contact names and phone numbers. Valley CDC will place a laminated card with three contact names and phone numbers inside the knox box before re-inspection. 5. Configuration of alarm dialer. Dave Mitowski, Easthampton Electric, will fill out Northampton Fire Department alarm configuration paperwork and speak to appropriate fire department personnel to complete this task before re-inspection. 6. NFPA72 Completion Form. Jack Walsh from Wei-Design will comp_ lete the NFPA72 Completion Form before re-inspection. 7. horn Strobe Coverage. Jack Walsh from Wel-Design will investigate horn strobe coverage compliance for second floor area and produce a letter to the Fire Department citing appropriate compliance with code before re-inspection. Northampton Building Inspector and Engineering Design Associates to confirm scope of required replacement. • Desrosiers has outlined the scope of work and is generating budget numbers. • Fire Alarm Inspection requires additional work to be approved. Generally the owner is to complete the required application; Well-Design is to provide key tags, framed, mounted exit plans, and letter exempting a strobe from the 2"d floor hall. Additionally work must be completed in the six south units common area (1 smoke per front and rear stair) and 3 devices in the basement areas, all tied in to the fire alarm panel. General • Carlson & Schmitt Architects to coordinate/detail dumpster enclosure. • Pencil Requisition: CSA to review HVAC progress for 34 Michelman, and fire alarm invoicing for 79 Michelman and process.
