Progress: 34 Michelman • Pile caps at back half of structure poured, and backfilled with compacted gravel. • Pile installation continues, approximately,85%ciimptete. • Pile cap forming and pouring underway. • Additional pile costs submitted by Desrosiers, distributed this meeting. New Issues: • Tilman recapped the importance of submitting the pencil Tquisition at the second to last Thursday of each month job meeting. Questions/review of the pencil requisition to be completed that meeting to allow for final submittal and prolmPtpaymentprocessing. • Satellite Parking Area - Bob Desrosiers indicated that settlement appears to be occurring see May 5, 2003 correspondence); and the following options/issues w e reviewed: A. Limitation of the contractor's liability, given the condition of soils, and discovery of debris elsewhere on site. B. The creation/assignment of additional maintenance funds to cover pavement repair Eosts. C. Specification , of geo-textile fabric by Mike Talbot to reinforce/stabilize existing soils. Generally, settlement and cracking of pavement may be experienced; it's difficult to predict stability; but Mike Talbot predicts a shorter than average lifespan for the pliving, and more frequent repairs in the first years. Bob indicated excess fill on site needs to be addressed -to that end: A. Mike Talbot indicated he's reviewed the specification with Engineering Design Associates and the ,gravel between pile caps can be deleted and on site material utilized.
