Dear Chuck,
I have reviewed the plans prepared by Valley Home Improvement, dated 10/22/12, for the 2-story
addition constructed late 2012-early 2013. The original exterior wall of the house was replaced
with 3-9'/2"LVL installed to support the second floor and 2-12" LVL was installed to support the
roof. I have done the necessary calculations and confirm that the both beams are adequate to
support the required loads and are in structural compliance with the current building code.
