Dear Mr. Johnston:

After inspecting your wood burnInt stove at 42 Fruit Street*
Hap 32C. Lot 128# 1 returned and spoke with the Building
Inspector, Cecil I. Clark about the stove pipe entry in the
existint-, flue.
I was told by Cecil Clark that he had not Iver, permission
to have two appliances enter the some 7—msp! I also noticed
that these were on two different levels, And that yo-s also
have a gas stove tied Into this same flue.
According to 780 CAM Articles I Sue 21, One and Two FarvIlY
Dwelling Codep Section 2108,1,7,79 it is illegal to have
multiple flue connections. Therefore, you are requested not
to use the wood burning stove. it will be necessary for you
to install a separate chimney and flue for this sprItafte.
