KEEFE APPLICANT ADDRESS: 26 CRESCENT STREET, NORTHAMPTON, MA 01060 OWNER: SERVICE PROPERTIES, INC. OWNER ADDRESS: BOX 522 , FLORENCE, MA 01061 RE LAND OR BUILDINGS IN NORTHAMPTON AT: 78 CONZ STREET (REAR) At a meeting held on June 3 , 1992, the Northampton Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously to GRANT the request of Frank J. Keefe for a SPECIAL PERMIT and SITE PLAN REVIEW under the Provisions of §5.2 , 10.10 & 10. 11 of the Northampton Zoning Ordinance, to allow a repair service establishment for the repair of small appliances, and gasoline driven appliances, such as lawn mowers, lamps, bicycles, etc. Present and voting were Dr. Peter Laband, Robert Reckman, and M. Sanford Weil, Jr. The findings were as follows: The requested use is listed in the Table of Use Regulations as a Special Permit in the district for which application is made. The use will bear a positive relationship to the public welfare because it will provide the City with a business willing to fix small appliances. - The use will not create undue traffic congestion and will not unduly affect the integrity of the neighborhood because the proposed business is in harmony with the rest of the area. , -- The use will not overload any public water, drainage or sewer system because there are no toilet facilities or water supply on the site. -- The Site Plan criteria of §10. 11 have been met or waivers have been granted as requested by the applicant. The conditions are as follows: 1. Any flammable materials on the property must be properly stored. 2 . All hazardous waste must be disposed of in a manner consistent with Board of Health regulations.
