The fees for each building permit for new construction , alterations and demolition within the city shall be as follows : 1 . The fee for each building for new construction, al eration, alterations and amendments in use groups A,B,F,H, I ,M,R1 ,S, and T s: all be computed at the rate of four dollars ($4.00) per thousand , or fraction thereof, with a minimum charge of twenty dollars ($20.00) . The maa;irnum fee shall be four • thousand dollars ($4,000.00) per structure. 2. The fee for a permit for a demolition of an accessary building shall be twenty dollars ($20.00) 3. The fee for a permit for a demolition of a principal building shall be forty dollars ($40.00) . 4. The fee for a permit for each building for new construction in use group R, exclusive of R1 , shall be computed at the rate of forty cents (40¢) per sq. ft. for the first floor, twenty cents (20¢) per sq. ft. for the second floor, and twenty cents (20¢) per sq. ft. for half floor: . 5. The fee for a permit for interior structural altor:,tions in all use groups shall be computed at the rate of four dollars ($4 .00) per thousand of estimated cost or fraction thereof , with a minimum fee of forty dollars ($40.00) .
