has begun at the second floor level and was approximately
20o complete at the time I visited the job site. No
finishing has begun at this time. Installation of wood
blocking has also been completed at both the first and
second floor and all wood blocking materials were noted to
be fire retardant pressure treated.
It should be noted that all plumbing, mechanical, telephone
and alarm system installation has been contracted
separately by the owner and is not under the responsibility
of The O' Leary Company or myself.
5 . It is my understanding that the site water service
installation and underground electric power service will
not be installed for several weeks .
6. Components for the elevator installation have now been
delivered to the job site, however, construction of the
elevator unit has not yet begun.

finished. All under slab plumbing and electrical conduit
has been stubbed up above finished slab level at the first
floor.
All masonry wall construction has also been completed which
basically includes the interior elevator shaft walls and
exterior 4-foot high split-faced block kicker walls around
the building perimeter on three sides .
3 . Erection of all structural steel components for the Butler
preengineered metal building system has been completed
along with the building bracing system. Installation of
the standing seam metal roofing system with fiberglass
insulation has also been completed along with prefabricated
metal roof curbs to support the rooftop package HVAC units .
Perimeter metal trim at the roof line remains to be
completed after exterior wall system installation.
Also as previously noted, erection of the exterior 6-inch
steel studs to support the exterior insulation finish
system (EIFS) on the North, East and South walls has been
completed along with rough framing for the window and door
units . Installation of fiberglass faced gypsum sheathing
and foam board has also now been completed on those walls .
Mesh reinforcement and base coat installation for the EIFS
finish system has also now begun and is approximately 35%
complete. Erection of the prefabricated Butler Style Wall
panel system on the West exterior wall has also been
completed at this time.
4 . On the interior of the building, erection of all metal
studs for interior partitions is basically complete. Rough
in plumbing and electrical work to be enclosed within the
partitions also appears to be basically complete. It is my
understanding that close-in inspections by the local
inspectors have been completed for partitions at both the
first and second levels . All fiberglass insulation has
also now been installed on the interior side of the
exterior perimeter building walls . Gypsum board erection

Gentlemen:
Since my last report on August 7, 2003, the following
construction has been completed and except as noted found to be
in compliance with applicable codes and construction documents
for this project:
1 . Site work operations remain basically as previously
reported. All storm drainage piping and the below grade
prefabricated plastic detention chamber has been installed
and backfilled up to grade. Some minor slippage of the
embankment at the Northwest corner of the site was noted
and will require dress-up prior to project completion.
Finish grading around the perimeter of the building and
parking lot areas remains to be completed. The masonry
retaining wall at the North property line has been
completed, however, the similar retaining wall at the South
property line remains to be installed. Although the
precast concrete transformer pad has been installed on the
exterior of the Southeast corner of the building along with
secondary electrical conduit extending into the building,
no primary or secondary electrical service wiring has been
pulled at this time. A temporary electrical service has
been stubbed up on the interior of the first floor and
remains in place.
It is my understanding that the sanitary septic system is
being designed and installed under separate contract by the
owner and not under the responsibility of The O' Leary
Company or myself.
2 . As previously reported, all reinforced concrete foundation
work and interior concrete slabs have been poured and
