exterior masonry kicker wall construction has begun at this
time.
4 . On the interior of the building, layout for interior metal
stud partitions has begun. Metal studs for interior
partitions have not yet been delivered to the job site and
no interior partition construction has begun at this time .
No other interior rough in plumbing or electric work has
begun at this time.

completed and backfilled up to grade. All under slab
plumbing and electrical conduit has been stubbed up above
finished slab level at the first floor. The interior
reinforced concrete slab on grade has also now been poured,
finished and control joints cut. No cracking or
deficiencies were noted.
3 . Erection of the Butler preengineered metal building system
is continuing. All structural steel building components
have now been erected including steel bar joists supporting
the second floor area. All structural components appear to
be properly welded or bolted as required. The structural
building bracing system has also now been completed. At
the second floor level, metal decking has also been
properly welded in place and the second floor reinforced
concrete slab has also been poured and finished. Installa-
tion of the stainless steel interior drain at the roof line
on the North side of the building has also now been
completed and connected to the interior cast iron drain
pipes . Installation of the standing seam metal roofing
system with fiberglass insulation has also now been
completed, however, perimeter metal trim remains to be
completed after exterior wall system installation has been
completed.
Construction of the masonry elevator shaft enclosure along
with steel inserts and solid masonry support for elevator
rail framing has also been completed.
On the North, East and South exterior building walls,
erection of six-inch steel studs and framing has also been
completed. Rough window framing has also been completed
including fire retardant wood perimeter window support
backing. Fiberglass faced gypsum sheathing material on the
exterior of these walls is also now approximately 75%
complete. Installation of the EIFS exterior wall finish
system has not yet begun. On the West exterior wall,
erection of the Butler style wall pre-finished metal panels
has also now begun and is approximately 15% complete. No

Gentlemen:
Since my last report on July 9, 2003, the following construction
has been completed and except as noted found to be in compliance
with applicable codes and construction documents for this
project :
1 . Site work operations are continuing. Installation of storm
water drainage piping and stabilization of the embankment
at the Northwest corner of the site has now been completed
including topsoil and seeding. Installation of the storm
drainage piping at the base of the embankment along the
West property line is also now basically complete along
with washed stone backfill. The below grade storm drainage
prefabricated plastic detention chamber has also now been
installed and backfilled. This installation was completed
prior to my visiting the job site. All other on-site storm
drainage piping has been completed. As previously noted,
construction of the split faced masonry landscape retaining
wall at the North property line has been completed,
however, installation of a similar retaining wall at the
South property line has not yet begun. Finish grading
around the perimeter of the building and parking lot areas
also remains to be completed. A temporary electric service
has been stubbed up on the interior of the first floor. At
the exterior of the Southeast corner of the new building,
the precast concrete transformer pad and secondary
electrical conduit from the pad into the building has been
completed, however, no primary or secondary electrical
service wiring has been pulled at this time.
2 . As previously reported, all reinforced concrete foundation
work for the new building and elevator shaft has been
