reinforced concrete slab on grade has not yet been poured.
It is my understanding that all plumbing work for the new
building is being completed under separate contract by the
owner and not under the responsibility of The O' Leary
Company.
3 . The Butler preengineered metal building system has now been
delivered to the job site. It is my understanding that a
full building permit has now been received from the City of
Northampton and structural steel erection has begun. All
structural steel columns, beams, wall girts and roof
purlins to support the roof structure have now been erected
and bolted in place. Installation of the structural
bracing system for the perimeter shell of the building is
continuing. All structural steel column base plates line
up properly with anchor bolts with only minor modifications
to the base plates necessary for proper steel alignment.
Structural steel columns and beams to support the second
floor level have not yet been erected. The structural
steel bar joists for the second floor framing have not yet
been delivered to the job site.
Construction of the masonry elevator shaft enclosure has
now begun and is approximately 50% complete. Installation
of steel inserts and solid masonry supports for elevator
rail framing appears to be proceeding properly.
4 . At the exterior of the Southeast corner of the new
building, installation of the precast concrete transformer
pad has been completed as well as secondary electrical
conduit from the pad into the new building area. No
primary electrical conduit has been installed at this time
and no electrical service wiring has been pulled. No other
site utility construction has been completed at this time.

Construction Report No. 4
Gentlemen:
Since my last report on June 9, 2003, the following construction
has been completed and except as noted found to be in compliance
with applicable codes and construction documents for this
project:
1 . As previously noted, all site clearing and grading for the
new building and parking lot area has been completed.
Installation of the site storm drainage piping at the base
of the embankment along the West property line remains
delayed until stabilization of the embankment has been
completed. At the Northwest corner of the site, the
embankment will require stone stabilization to direct
ground water to the new drainage piping to be installed at
the base of the embankment along the West property line.
At the North property line, construction of the split faced
masonry landscape retaining wall is now basically complete.
Installation of a similar retaining wall to be installed
along the South property line has not yet begun.
2 . Also as previously noted, installation of the reinforced
concrete footings, foundation walls and column piers for
the new building as well as the elevator shaft have been
completed and backfilled up to grade. All anchor bolts
have been set in preparation for structural steel erection.
Prior to backfill, styrofoam insulation has been placed on
the interior face of all exposed perimeter foundation
walls .
All under slab plumbing and electrical service conduit have
also been installed on the interior of the new building and
stubbed up above finished slab level . The interior
