It is anticipated that the building will be normally occupied five days a week between the hours of 7 a.m. and6p.m. The facility will house a normal everyday occupancy of approximately 60 employees and visitors. The site layout will include approximately 19,000 square feet of paved sidewalk and parking area. Building Description The building will consist of preengineered steel framing with concrete slabs on grade and deck. A standing seam metal roof with 6" of glass fiber preengineered building (PEB) insulation(laid over the purlins)will be used throughout. A 1" rigid foam spacer block will be installed between the roof and purlins. A polypropylene/scrim/kraft vapor barrier will be installed at the warm side of all roof insulation. No skylights will be utilized. Walls at the west side of the building will be metal panels with 4" of PEB insulation and PSK vapor barrier. Remaining walls will be constructed using 6" steel studs with interior and exterior gypsum board sheathing. Stud cavities will be insulated with 6" glass fiber batts. A 4 mil flame retardant polyethylene vapor barrier will be installed at the warm side of all stud walls.
