RE: New Building for Paradise Realty Partners
766 North King Street, Northampton, MA
Construction Report No 1
Gentlemen:
On May 5, 2003, I inspected the above referenced project . The
following construction has been completed and except as noted
found to be in compliance with applicable codes and construction
documents for this project :
1 . All site clearing and rough grading for the new building
and parking lot area has now been completed. Topsoil has
been stripped and stockpiled on the north side of the site.
Excavation for the reinforced concrete exterior perimeter
footings and foundation walls for the new building has now
begun and is approximately 50% complete. At the southeast
corner of the site adjacent to the street front, clay
material was encountered at bottom of footing level . The
site foreman was instructed to under cut all areas where
clay materials are encountered at bottom of footing level
and install and compact a minimum of 6" gravel fill
material .
No reinforced concrete footing installation has begun at
this time. Reinforcing steel materials have been delivered
to the job site for all reinforced concrete footings and
foundation walls . It is anticipated that foundation
installation will begin within the next week.
2 . The Butler preengineered metal building system has not yet
been delivered to the job site . No other building
