RE: Scrap Metal Business being conducted from a residential area
Dear Mr. Samson:
Please find enclosed a notice of violation for Oct. 4th, 2013 where I observed scrap materials
being cut up and processed by you at 59 Evergreen Road, Leeds, MA.
As you know, this is against zoning regulations. Also, some concerns are had with dismantling
of air conditioners and the release of Freon gasses, as well as the processing of catalytic
converters. These are possible environmental issues and are of a serious nature.
Please be advised you will receive a violation and fine each time such activity is observed.
This unlawful use of the residential property must stop at once.
