FINDINGS:
The Board of Appeals granted the request for the sign that was slightly larger than 25'and higher than 10'from the grade based on the
plans submitted.
The Board determined that:
A.Signs are located only where they are otherwise permitted in the district;and
B.The architecture of the building,the location of
the building or the land and the nature of the use being made of the building is such that larger and higher signs would not detract from
the character of the neighborhood and should be permitted in the public interest The sign faces the parking lot of the hotel and the King
Street corridor which is a highly trafficed corridor. There will be no signs fronting on any other facade including the Gothic Street side.
C. The Board of Appeals specified the size indicated in the permit of 8.5'X 4.5'and the top of the sign being 15'from grade.
